People often ask what the secret is to a successful solar or wind project at a school. One huge factor is peer to peer assistance. Scott Saffer of Prairie Central Junior High shared information and conducted a tour of his wind turbine for Mark Eighner and Curt Spaur of the Hoopeston School District. Hoopeston just received a wind grant from Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation so Mark and Curt came over to see Scott about suggestions and guidance.
